Our thoughts, feelings and experiences of our natural and built surroundings intrigue me. What are our individual sensitivities and what do we share in common?  What changes over time and how are we affected?  How does this contribute to the transformation of an ordinary space to a valued place? I believe it is important to take the time to become aware of these things… to honor our surroundings and our selves.

The concept of containment, the act of perceiving and the quiet engagement of our body are interests of mine.  I seek to evoke a greater sense of place, allowing room for each person to enter and relate on a level where objects, experiences, daydreams and memories run parallel and intersect.
